 Press Releases

  • VERMES Microdispensing, the world's leading manufacturer of high-performance dispensing systems, announced the release of the high-speed, slim-line MDS 3080 Series piezo dispensing system.

The MDS 3080 solution provides a new, versatile low to medium volume dispensing technology for demanding applications and can be used to dispense a wide variety of materials.

It is capable of finely adjusting its force and closure function to the needs of the medium, making it ideal for even the most sensitive materials, such as dispensing biomolecules,

3D living organ analogues, protein solutions, and DNA arrays.

The MDS 3080 dispenser enables precision micro-shot, contact-free jet dispensing. Its valve is characterized by a slim, lightweight frame, exceptional stability, and perfect adjustability, and can be integrated into almost all axis and robot systems.

  • The new MDS 3581 micro dispensing system from VERMES Microdispensing is equipped with the patented Piezo Xtreme 2 actuator, which ensures maximum stroke and speed values as well as perfect resistance to unfavorable environmental conditions, such as temperature fluctuations or humidity. The advanced piezo jetting technology enables users to achieve exceptional performance at a low operating cost.

With the MDS 3581, market leader VERMES Microdispensing presents a new solution based on the innovative Piezo Xtreme 2 technology. This system is designed for high-performance applications, as well as a long service life. The intelligent encapsulation of the actuator extends the durability of the system and withstands even the most demanding application process, regardless of the environmental conditions that can affect the dispensing results over time.

  • VERMES Medical Equipment, the high-precision division of VERMES Microdispensing GmbH, has unveiled its new drop volume system (DVS) for low-viscosity microdispensing applications. The newly launched DVS 31 and 32 enables precise in-process measurement and quantification of droplet volumes. Featuring a browser-based user interface, the system is intuitive to operate and supports high dispensing frequencies (depending on the medium), allowing for accurate measurement of discrete volumes from a single drop to burst sequences.

The DVS 31 and 32 are part of the DVS 3x product family, which is specifically engineered for exceptionally precise drop volume measurement. These systems are ideal for low and medium-viscosity fluids (up to 12,500 mPas) and are suitable for a wide range of industries, including life sciences (e.g. cell suspensions, protein solutions), electronics, semiconductors, and precision mechanics.

  • Holzkirchen, Germany – April 30, 2025 – VERMES Medical Equipment, the high-precision division of VERMES Microdispensing GmbH, has unveiled its new drop volume system (DVS) for low-viscosity microdispensing applications.

A key performance indicator: Precision. When comparing the measured values with those of a high-precision laboratory scale, the deviation is less than one percent.

Each DVS unit comprises a high-precision Drop Volume Device (DVD) and a dedicated control unit (DVC). Unlike traditional systems that measure flow rate, the DVS enables true in-process droplet volume quantification for very short pulses, offering superior accuracy and reliability for microdispensing applications.

Due to its compact, modular design, the system can be seamlessly integrated into existing production environments with minimal preparatory work. Modifications to the production line can be implemented quickly and easily.

A comprehensive choice of accessories is available, including cartridge holders and DVD holders. The system is also compatible with a variety of VERMES Microdispensing solutions, including valves for low- and mid-viscosity media, with or without Piezo actuators. This versatility enables precise monitoring of critical microdispensing applications across industries such as automation, electronics, mechanical engineering, automotive, life sciences, and consumer electronics.

The system enhances process control, enabling early detection of inconsistencies and minimizing reject rates even before full-scale production, resulting in significant time and cost savings. Additionally, it can be easily adapted to new requirements at any time without substantial investment. Equipped with a browser-based user interface and PLC/RS232 machine-to-machine interface (MMI), the drop volume system enables real-time monitoring and control, ensuring both operational efficiency and precise process adjustments.

    About Us

VERMES Microdispensing is a high-tech industry leader that ushered in a new era in the design and manufacture of microdispensing concepts and systems with the introduction of the world’s first contact-free piezo-based systems in 2001.
