At Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), our relentless drive to innovate has made us a research powerhouse and leader in cancer care for children. Our Cancer Center team treats more than 5,600 patients each year. CHOP has one of the largest Blood and Marrow Transplant Programs in the United States, performing an average of 80 transplants each year, and co-developed the groundbreaking chimeric antigen receptor ("CAR") T cell therapy for children with advanced acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
